ORANJESTAD – Students at Xander Bogaerts Primary School in San Nicolas are benefiting from newly renovated bathroom facilities following improvements led by Aruba’s Ministry of Education.
The renovation project began after Education Minister Gerlien Croes visited the school and learned from Principal Nadia Maduro about the poor condition of the student restrooms, particularly those used by boys. The ministry quickly developed a renovation plan to address the issue.
The upgraded facilities have now been officially handed over, featuring fully remodeled bathrooms with modern finishes and improved amenities. The project also included two new staff bathrooms and additional workspace for school employees.
School staff and administrators expressed their appreciation to Minister Croes and the Ministry of Education for responding promptly to their request and improving the learning environment for students.
