The meeting brought together representatives from 19 Caribbean nations, engaging in insightful discussions about the development of sports within the region. CANOC President Mr. Keith Joseph opened the assembly by expressing gratitude to the Guyana Olympic Committee for their hospitality and commitment to aligning sports with the country’s social and economic progress.

During the event, the Paraguayan Olympic Committee also participated and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CANOC to promote collaboration in sports development throughout the region.
