Violent Altercation in Santa Cruz Leaves Both Parties Injured

Early this morning, on February 13, 2026, reports came in of a violent altercation between a couple in Santa Cruz, resulting in injuries to both parties. Police and ambulances were quickly dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, authorities learned that the situation involved a domestic dispute in which the man had reportedly attacked the woman.

Ambulance personnel treated the man at the scene, where it was understood that he initially assaulted the woman and then went on to attack her further. The woman defended herself and her child during the altercation, but the man continued to inflict harm. He was also reported to have broken a car window during the incident.

The police apprehended the man, while the woman was also transported to the station to provide her statement. Later, two additional ambulances arrived to transport both individuals to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
