Tropical Wave Brings Clouds and Rain to Aruba

VIEWS

A large tropical wave currently moving through the Caribbean is passing close to Aruba today, bringing cloud cover and the chance of heavy showers.

The system entered the Caribbean Sea early Thursday and is tracking westward at around 28 to 37 km/h. According to satellite and radar data from Barbados, several parts of the wave contain scattered rainfall, though no signs of storm development have been detected.

Residents of Aruba should expect cloudy skies throughout the day, with periodic rainfall that could be locally intense in some areas or at sea.

Authorities continue to monitor the wave, but for now, it remains unorganized and poses no significant threat.
