The St. Regis Aruba Opens as a New Benchmark in Caribbean Luxury

PALM BEACH, ARUBA — The newest gem in the Caribbean luxury resort scene has officially arrived. The St. Regis Aruba Resort opened its doors on Palm Beach, blending timeless elegance with contemporary indulgence across six pristine pools, a world-class spa, and the first casino in the St. Regis portfolio.

A Premier Oceanfront Escape
Located on Aruba’s famed northwest coast, the resort sits just steps from white sand and turquoise water. The design draws inspiration from the island’s natural features like the Casibari Rock Formations, with interiors showcasing a tranquil palette of whites, beiges, and wooden textures. Spaciousness defines the property — from its expansive guest rooms to open-air terraces and beachfront lounges.

“The St. Regis Aruba delivers a level of luxury not found elsewhere on the island,” said Oliver Reschreiter, the resort’s General Manager.

Accommodations with Elevated Comfort
The resort features 252 rooms, including 52 suites, many with ocean-view balconies and oversized bathrooms. Guests seeking ultimate exclusivity can book the 2,637 sq. ft. John Jacob Astor Presidential Suite, equipped with a private balcony, a full dining room, and dedicated butler service.

World-Class Dining: Akira Back and More
The culinary lineup includes:

Akira Back – A rooftop restaurant offering Japanese-Korean fusion and panoramic ocean views.

Eskama – Mediterranean-inspired by night, breakfast buffet by day.

Nuba – Poolside casual with Caribbean flair.

The St. Regis Bar – Asian-inspired tapas and signature cocktails including the “Bon Bini Mary,” a local spin on the classic Bloody Mary.

Casino and Signature Experiences
For nightlife enthusiasts, the on-site casino marks a first for the St. Regis brand. Guests can also enjoy:

Champagne sabrage rituals

Cooking and cocktail-making classes

Curated island tours via De Palm Tours

Wellness and Family Amenities
The spa incorporates Aruba-grown aloe in many treatments and includes steam rooms, a sauna, and massage therapies. Family-friendly programs such as Little Chefs Academy and Cultural Storytelling keep younger guests engaged. Accessible design ensures mobility-friendly accommodations and common areas throughout the resort.

Sustainability & Accessibility
Reschreiter confirmed the resort’s commitment to sustainability, incorporating energy-efficient systems and accessibility features such as:

Roll-in showers

Pool lifts and sloped entries

Accessible dining, spa, and event spaces

Location & Rewards
Conveniently situated just 20 minutes from Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) and a short drive to downtown Oranjestad, the hotel is part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, offering members exclusive discounts and points toward free stays.

Discover Aruba’s New Era of Luxury
Whether you’re lounging poolside, dining under the stars, or enjoying private butler service, The St. Regis Aruba Resort offers an unforgettable stay in one of the Caribbean’s most coveted destinations.
