ORANJESTAD: Swedish psychologist and author Eva Rusz officially presented her new book, Dare to Change Your Life, during a book launch event held at the library in Oranjestad. The presentation took place as part of the opening of the Black and White exhibition and focused on themes of personal change and inspiration.
The book is deeply influenced by Rusz’s long-standing relationship with Aruba. What initially began as a temporary stay on the island to complete a previous book eventually evolved into a much longer period, during which she also opened a professional practice and became closely connected to the local community.
Unexpected Challenges and Personal Growth
What was first intended as a short visit turned into a significant personal and professional transformation. Rusz describes how life in Aruba confronted her with unexpected challenges, while also offering new insights and meaningful connections within a multicultural environment.
Although inspired by real-life experiences, the author emphasizes that Dare to Change Your Life is not a factual account, but rather a narrative and inspirational story centered on courage, resilience, self-discovery, and personal growth. The book encourages readers to view their own lives from a new perspective.
During the presentation, Rusz spoke about her writing process and the themes explored in the book, followed by a book-signing session. Dare to Change Your Life is now available at local bookstores in Aruba.
