On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Sinterklaas and his Piets will arrive in Aruba by boat at the Aruba Ports Authority (A.P.A.) terminal.
The Government of Aruba and the National Days Celebration Commission (C.C.D.N.) invite all parents and children to come and warmly welcome Sinterklaas back to Aruba. The gates at A.P.A.’s Cruise Terminal (Gate 5), next to the Welcome Plaza, will open at 2:00 p.m. for the public to greet Sinterklaas and more than 100 Piets.
The ship is scheduled to dock at 3:00 p.m., after which Sinterklaas and his Piets will board the tram for a festive parade filled with music and performances, traveling toward Plaza La Linda along Caya Grandi. The route will pass via the Welcome Plaza, behind Arubus Weststraat, Havenstraat, and Plaza Daniel Leo before arriving at Caya Grandi.
The Sinterklaas caravan will reach Plaza La Linda by 4:00 p.m., where a full afternoon of family activities awaits. Children can enjoy dancing, live shows, photo opportunities with Sinterklaas, games, and a variety of food and refreshments. The event will conclude at 6:00 p.m.
Organizers remind parents to take precautions for sun protection, hydration, and traffic safety during the festivities. Sunday is a family day—bring your children and enjoy the magical arrival of Sinterklaas in Aruba!
