Island-Wide Fiber Access by 2027

SETAR also confirmed that by 2027, every home and business in Aruba will have access to fiber-optic connectivity. This milestone will lay the foundation for smart homes, more competitive businesses, and continued digital economic growth.

5G Network Fully Operational

Another key announcement was the official rollout of 5G mobile technology in Aruba. According to SETAR, more than half of its mobile customers are already using 5G, providing faster mobile data speeds and next-generation connectivity through smartphones.

SETAR emphasized that it is evolving beyond traditional telecommunications, expanding into digital and IT services, including cloud-based solutions, automation, and artificial intelligence for businesses and government institutions.

Additional Support for the Community

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, SETAR also announced an additional half-million florins added to its donation and sponsorship budget, supporting projects in education, culture, sports, and social development.

“Thank you, Aruba, for 40 years of trust,” SETAR stated. “Together, we will continue to connect, innovate, and empower everyone on the island.
