A Riverplate football fight was reported on Friday night after a violent incident broke out between two young men during a football match at the field in Riverplate. Police were immediately sent to the scene after receiving the report.
When officers arrived, they noticed that the situation was getting out of control and requested additional patrol units from other districts to assist. The response was strengthened as the disturbance involved escalating tension at the location.
It was later confirmed that the Riverplate football fight involved two youths. One of them suffered a cut, while the other was detained by police at the scene. Due to the injuries, an ambulance was called to provide medical attention to the victim, and a police transport vehicle was requested to take the detained youth into custody.
A short time later, another ambulance was called to examine the detained youth as well, because he was complaining of shoulder pain and it was suspected that his shoulder may have been dislocated.
The Riverplate football fight resulted in injuries to both youths and led to one detention as authorities responded to restore order at the football field.
