Police operations across Aruba continued actively during the Halloween weekend, with officers maintaining a strong presence throughout the day and night. On Friday, October 31, 2025, the Noord District conducted a large-scale traffic control operation as part of Halloween activities.
During the operation, more than 275 vehicles were stopped, and 90 fines were issued for various violations, including driving without a license, expired road tax or inspection cards, not wearing seat belts, and using mobile phones while driving.
The Department of Public Transport (DTP) also participated, issuing 12 additional reports.
Beyond traffic enforcement, the operation included broader police actions to maintain public order. Officers from several specialized units were deployed, resulting in seven arrests in the hotel area for offenses such as possession of marijuana, assault, disorderly conduct, and driving under the influence. Authorities also confiscated one airsoft weapon with ammunition.
Multiple police divisions and partner organizations were involved in the operation, including uniformed police, motorcycle units, Flex Team, K-9 Unit, SBV, Mobile Unit, as well as external partners like DTP, CEA, KW, KMar, TSPA, and AHATA.
Officials confirmed that these coordinated enforcement actions will continue—not only on the roads but also across Aruba’s hotel zones—to ensure public safety and order.
