Around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, police patrol units were dispatched by the Police Central to Pos Abao Road near Kibaima, in the area of a Nightclub Fight in Tanki Leendert, following reports of a large fight taking place.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a group of individuals who were still visibly upset and possibly involved in the altercation.
During a preliminary check of the area, police identified one individual with a facial wound that was bleeding. It appeared that the injury may have been caused by a bottle being thrown or used during the fight.
Officers also approached a compact vehicle, identified as a Honda Fit, where they found another injured person. Authorities suspect this individual may have been stabbed.
One of the individuals present had a cut on the face, possibly caused by a bottle. When officers used a flashlight to examine the person, they noticed signs suggesting a possible stabbing injury.
However, those involved were reportedly unwilling to cooperate with police at the scene. An ambulance was dispatched to provide medical assistance to the injured individuals.
It was observed that many of those involved appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and remained highly agitated at the location.
