Apply for Caribbean Netherlands Visas Again-
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that VFS Global in Haiti has resumed accepting visa applications for the Caribbean Netherlands.
As of Monday, February 9, the online appointment system has reopened, allowing residents of Haiti to once again apply for a visa to travel to the Caribbean Netherlands.
This reopening marks a positive development for Haitian residents, as for a long period, it was not possible to apply for a visa for the Caribbean Netherlands from within Haiti. This caused significant challenges, particularly for individuals seeking to visit family or handle emergency situations such as attending funerals. Additionally, those with pending applications or who held a VTA from DIMAS faced difficulties in securing a visa for Aruba due to the temporary closure of the VFS office in Haiti.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recognizes that, due to the closure, many applicants in Haiti were unable to submit their visa requests locally, leading to delays. The resumption of this service will help make the process more accessible for those applying for a visa to the Caribbean Netherlands.
