Travelers dreaming of a bucket-list cruise across Central America and the Caribbean now have a reason to celebrate. Holland America has dropped prices on its 22-day voyage from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale, which includes a full Panama Canal transit and stops in top destinations such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Aruba.
The cruise departs from Canada Place in Vancouver on October 5, 2025, officially beginning in Seattle on October 4. After sailing south along the Pacific Coast, passengers will stop in Santa Barbara and San Diego before continuing on to Puerto Vallarta, Huatulco, and Puerto Chiapas in Mexico. The journey also includes calls at Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala), Acajutla (El Salvador), and Puntarenas (Costa Rica) before transiting the Panama Canal.
On October 23, the ship will dock in Aruba, famous for its palm-fringed beaches, crystal-clear waters, and iconic pink flamingos. The voyage concludes in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on October 26, 2025.
The new price for an interior cabin is $6,376.62 for two passengers ($3,188.31 per person), working out to just $144.91 per diem. This marks a noticeable drop from the previous rate of $3,421.79 per person ($162.94 per diem).
The fare includes accommodation, meals, entertainment, and onboard amenities but excludes alcohol, specialty dining, WiFi, tips, and excursions. While interior cabins are the most affordable, oceanview cabins start around $200 more per person.
With limited space available and departure just weeks away, this price drop makes for a rare opportunity to experience a once-in-a-lifetime itinerary at a reduced rate.
