The Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds Aruba (KWF) is gearing up for its next major fundraising event, which will take place on November 30. Organized in collaboration with Alhambra Casino, the event aims to raise funds to support the foundation’s ongoing mission of assisting the Aruban community in the fight against cancer. KWF President Mrs. Haydee Henriquez provided details about the final event of the year: “Ride for the Roses 2025.”

Mrs. Henriquez explained that “Ride for the Roses 2025” is a combined walk, run, and bicycle ride designed for families and individuals of all ages. The event offers different routes for adults and children, encouraging everyone to participate early on a Sunday morning while contributing to a meaningful cause. At the finish line, those needing a foot massage will be treated by Candito and his team, who will be present to assist participants.

Registration will take place on November 22 at the Alhambra Casino food court, where KWF members will be available to help participants sign up. Registration can also be completed online for 25 florins through the Ride for the Roses Aruba website. Participants may also personalize their event T-shirt in honor of loved ones who are currently battling or have battled cancer.

“There are no limits on participation. The roads are wide and there is space for everyone,” Mrs. Henriquez emphasized. On Sunday, November 30, at 7:00 AM, the “Ride for the Roses 2025” will officially begin from the Alhambra Casino parking lot.

On behalf of KWF Aruba, Mrs. Henriquez extended sincere gratitude to Alhambra Casino and PR Marketing representative Mrs. Anni Dirks for more than ten years of dedicated support toward this meaningful fundraising initiative.
