ORANJESTAD (AAN): A violent Koningstraat Cutting Fight Suspect Flees Scene incident occurred early Sunday morning, prompting a rapid police and ambulance response after reports of a physical altercation involving a sharp object.

At approximately 9:02 a.m., authorities received a report of a fight on Koningstraat with an injured individual at the location. Police units and emergency medical services were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the altercation had already ended, but one individual remained injured while the suspected attacker had fled the area.

According to preliminary information gathered by police, the confrontation escalated when one of the individuals involved allegedly used an “X-Acto knife” during the fight. The victim sustained two deep cuts to the hand and was bleeding heavily at the time officers arrived.

Due to the severity of the bleeding, officers applied immediate first aid by placing a temporary cloth bandage on the victim’s hand to control blood loss while awaiting the ambulance. Given that this was a violent altercation involving a weapon, police detained the injured individual at the scene as part of standard investigative procedure while other officers began searching the surrounding area for the fleeing suspect.

Witnesses in the area reported seeing one person running away from Koningstraat shortly after the altercation. However, the suspect had already disappeared before authorities could secure the perimeter.

Paramedics arrived shortly afterward and provided medical treatment to the victim before transporting him to Dr. Horacio Oduber Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. At this time, the full extent of the injuries has not been officially disclosed, but sources indicate the wounds were significant due to heavy bleeding.

Police have launched an investigation into the Koningstraat Cutting Fight Suspect Flees Scene case and are working to identify and locate the individual who fled. Authorities are reviewing any available surveillance footage from nearby businesses and residences and are interviewing potential witnesses who may have seen the incident unfold.

Investigators are urging anyone with information related to the Koningstraat Cutting Fight Suspect Flees Scene to come forward and contact the police. Community cooperation will be essential in identifying the suspect and clarifying the events that led to the confrontation.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the individuals involved knew each other or what triggered the altercation. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
