Kitesurfing in Aruba: Ride the Wind, Master the Waves

VIEWS

Aruba’s constant trade winds and warm, shallow turquoise waters make it one of the top kitesurfing destinations in the world. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned rider, there’s no better place to learn, improve, and ride the wind than on this sun-drenched island paradise.

At Aruba’s premier kite school, safety, quality instruction, and top-tier equipment are our highest priorities. Our team of internationally certified instructors ensures every student gets personalized guidance and the best chance at becoming an independent kiteboarder.

Your Kitesurfing Journey, Step-by-Step

1. Kite Control (Land Training)
If you’re new to the sport, we begin with trainer kites on land. You’ll learn the fundamentals of wind behavior, kite setup, safety systems, and how to steer and control the kite.

2. Body Dragging (Water Entry)
Time to hit the water! Using your kite skills, you’ll learn how to body drag across the water, control direction, retrieve your board, and safely launch and land. It’s a splashy and thrilling experience that builds confidence and control.

3. Waterstart (Board Skills)
The final step: riding the board! Once you’re ready, your instructor will help you combine kite control with board technique to get up and ride. It may be challenging at first, but the reward of gliding over the sea powered by the wind is unforgettable.

Whether you’re looking for a new thrill or crossing kitesurfing off your bucket list, Aruba offers ideal wind conditions, warm waters, and expert guidance to help you succeed.

Get Safe, Get Wet, Get Riding — and Get Hooked!
