Joshua Klaber Aruba Canada Open participation took place last week Thursday during the 2026 Canada Open Taekwondo competition held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The international event was hosted at the WinSport Center in Calgary and attracted athletes from across the world, including competitors from Asia, Europe, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, the United States, and Canada.
During the Joshua Klaber Aruba Canada Open participation, the Aruban athlete faced Erik Perez from the United States in one of his matches and successfully defeated him.
Klaber then advanced to the next round, where he competed against Omar Salim from Hungary. Despite a strong performance, Klaber was defeated by Salim, who later went on to win the Canada Open championship in the final round.
The Joshua Klaber Aruba Canada Open participation marks another important international experience for the Aruban Taekwondo athlete as he continues representing Aruba in global competitions.
According to reports, Joshua Klaber is continuing his training preparation under the guidance of his coaches as he prepares for upcoming tournaments scheduled later this year.
