The opening of Joia Aruba by Iberostar has helped drive a 10 percent increase in sales across the Americas, according to a recent report from Iberostar Group. The company stated that both the new Aruba property and its hotel in Miami contributed significantly to the strong performance recorded in 2025.

Iberostar Group reported a solid year-end close for 2025 and expressed optimism about continued growth. The group plans to maintain an investment strategy of €1 billion through 2028, focusing on the development of new projects and the renovation of existing resorts.

Overall, the resort group achieved €5.1 billion in managed revenue in 2025, representing a 14 percent increase compared to 2024, highlighting sustained success and positive growth prospects for the coming years.

As Iberostar celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2026, the company continues to prioritize expansion. The group currently employs 40,000 people from 95 nationalities and operates a portfolio of 100 hotels with 35,000 rooms across 14 countries worldwide.

The Joia Aruba by Iberostar resort opened unofficially in December 2024 and began full operations in summer 2025. With the recent opening of its GAIA restaurant in January, the hotel is now fully operational, offering all amenities and services to guests.

The performance of Joia Aruba by Iberostar underscores Aruba’s growing appeal as a luxury tourism destination and highlights the island’s role in driving regional growth for international hospitality brands.
