Minister of Sports, Gerlien Croes, was present on the island of Bonaire this past weekend for the grand opening of the 2026 Interinsular Games.
From Aruba, a group of 24 young athletes are participating in the event this year.
The official opening of the Interinsular Games took place, with athletes from all participating islands marching in the opening parade. The Aruba delegation shone brightly during the event.
The competition includes teams from Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Saba, and St. Eustatius, with sports disciplines such as football, 3×3 basketball, and beach tennis.
