ORANJESTAD – During Holy Week, authorities will visit various camping areas around Aruba to focus on community well-being, safety, and cleanliness. With thousands of people enjoying the beaches, it is emphasized that keeping Aruba clean and safe is of utmost importance.
In collaboration with various agencies, continuous control over land and water safety is provided with the support of the police, lifeguards, Red Cross, and ambulances. Appreciation was given to the “first responders” for their dedication and efforts during this period.
An important initiative is the placement of sushi bins on various beaches like Arashi, Eagle Beach, Baby Beach, and others, to facilitate responsible disposal of waste. Authorities also visited the campgrounds to ensure safety, especially for large crowds, and to maintain a healthy, clean environment during the holiday festivities.
