The Golden Age Expo has held its third edition at Centro di Kibrahacha, bringing older adults together with vendors offering products and services for their needs.
Move brought the expo closer to the community
Organizer Silva Hart said the decision to move the event from hotels to a local community setting helped make it more accessible to older adults. According to 24ora, participants also had an opportunity to learn about the regular activities and workshops offered at Centro di Kibrahacha.
Hart said the interaction with attendees is becoming more detailed, giving organizers and vendors a clearer understanding of what older adults are seeking.
Returning vendors expanded their presence
About 95 percent of this year’s vendors had also taken part in the previous edition, Hart said. Some returned with a larger presence, which the organizer viewed as a sign of growing interest in serving Aruba’s older population.
Hart thanked the older adults, vendors and others who contributed to the event and said the goal is to keep strengthening the activities, services and opportunities available to seniors in Aruba.
