This past weekend, on Sunday, three athletes from Aruba represented the island at Inter Curaçao, an equestrian Paso Fino competition judged by experts from the Dominican Republic and Colombia.
Aruba’s young rider Sheyxienne Geerman, making her debut in Curaçao, secured a silver medal riding Polvo Robado in the 9–11 age category.
Zachary Coffie earned a gold medal in the 15–17 age category aboard Suavidad de la Siberia.
Meanwhile, Caitlin Ras triumphed in the 25+ women’s category, also riding Polvo Robado, taking home another gold medal. Her return to the arena after some time away was marked by an outstanding performance.
The Organizacion Caballista Arubano extended congratulations to the riders, expressing pride in their achievements and representation of Aruba on the international stage.
