This Sunday, the GLW Foundation will host a special fundraising event to support Aruba’s young representatives who are preparing to compete in international beauty pageants.
The event, taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Club Primavera (Club Portugues), will feature food sales including cake boxes, snack boxes, Christmas ham, Johnny cakes, nuggets, beef soup, chicken soup, cookies, cocada, and pan dushi. Guests can also enjoy drinks such as juice, water, and beer. Tables will be set up for dining, games, and community fun, with a donation box available to support the contestants.
The fundraiser will help cover the upcoming travel of Miss Teen Aruba International, Tara van der Werk, and Little Nuestra Belleza Aruba, Elise Heronimo, who will represent Aruba at the Nuestra Belleza International pageant in Punta Cana on October 19. Tara will compete in the Teen category, while Elise will compete in the Little category.
In addition, Jehdaeiah Flanegin will represent Aruba in Mexico next March at the Teen Turismo Cultura International pageant, and Qryna Alleyne will compete in Punta Cana at the Teen Turismo Mundial pageant. All candidates are training to showcase Aruba with pride on the international stage.
The GLW Foundation encourages the community to come out, enjoy delicious food, and support Aruba’s pageant representatives as they prepare to shine abroad.
