A group of students from Colegio EPI is currently in full preparation for their upcoming internships with the Iberostar Group in 2026.

Students from the Hospitality & Tourism (H&T) unit, together with their parents, attended an information session this week presented by Iberostar, outlining internship opportunities at destinations in Mexico and Jamaica.

The detailed presentation was delivered by Dominique Meyer, Iberostar Group representative in Aruba, who explained the structure of the internships and what students can expect during their placement abroad.

Students Diana Medina, Zoelly Yarzagaray, Kenyer Matos, and Alex Rampersaud, enrolled in the Leisure, Travel and Hospitality program, will complete their internships at an Iberostar hotel in Mexico.

Meanwhile, students Geraldine Gomes and Jonaila Luidens, also from the Leisure, Travel and Hospitality program, will carry out their internships at an Iberostar hotel in Jamaica.

Through these international placements, all participating students will gain valuable real-world work experience in the hospitality industry—an opportunity expected to be highly beneficial for their future careers.

Colegio EPI expressed its sincere gratitude to Iberostar for hosting the session for parents and students, providing reassurance and confidence that the students will be well supported during their internships.
