The Caribbean’s first cider bar opens at Radisson Blu Aruba, bringing a unique craft beverage experience to the island’s hospitality scene.
Located at Palm Beach, the newly opened Blu Tap Cider has introduced what is described as the first cider-focused bar in the Caribbean. The venue is situated at the Radisson Blu Aruba Resort and aims to offer visitors and locals a new way to experience cider culture in Aruba.
The concept behind Blu Tap Cider focuses on showcasing craft apple-based ciders produced by South Hill Cider, a small producer based in the Finger Lakes region of New York. According to the announcement, the ciders are made in limited quantities, with flavors influenced by seasonal apple harvests.
Unique Cider Experience in Aruba
With the launch of Blu Tap Cider, the Caribbean’s first dedicated cider bar opens at Radisson Blu Aruba, introducing guests to a curated selection of handcrafted ciders.
Visitors can explore different varieties through the Cider Flight, allowing them to sample multiple flavors in a guided tasting experience. The bar also offers cider-based cocktails, premium spirits, and a curated wine selection.
The initiative focuses not only on drinks but also on the broader experience of craft beverages. Organizers explained that the goal is not simply to expand production but to create memorable experiences for guests through carefully crafted drinks.
Culinary Experience to Complement the Bar
The cider bar concept is complemented by Don Esteban Gourmet, a boutique tapas restaurant located next door. The culinary concept features artisan small plates and refined tapas, designed to pair with the cider selections.
Menu highlights include premium ingredients such as Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, commonly known as Pata Negra, offering guests a high-end gastronomic experience alongside the cider tasting.
Together, Blu Tap Cider and Don Esteban Gourmet aim to create a destination for visitors seeking a unique food and beverage experience in Palm Beach.
Strong Craft Partnerships
The team behind Blu Tap Cider emphasizes craftsmanship, strong partnerships, and respect for the products used in their offerings.
According to organizers, the project was built on collaborations with producers who share a commitment to quality and authenticity. These partnerships allow the venue to introduce specialized craft beverages that are not commonly available in the Caribbean.

Blu Tap Cider is open daily from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Radisson Blu Aruba in Palm Beach.
