On Tuesday afternoon, a 10-year-old boy was struck by a car in Catiri, near Reality Supermarket on the road from Catiri to Calabas. Both the Noord Police and Ambulance services quickly responded to the scene.

Traffic police attended to both the driver involved and the guardian accompanying the child. Paramedics provided immediate medical assistance at the site before transporting the injured boy to the hospital for further treatment.

Although his condition was reported as stable, the boy was admitted for additional observation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
