The Renaissance Convention Center came alive with excitement and pride during the AVB Awards Night 2025, an annual gala dedicated to honoring the outstanding achievements of football in Aruba for the 2024-2025 season.
Minister of Sports, Gerlien Croes, attended the event and praised the collective efforts of players, coaches, federations, and volunteers who continue to elevate football on the island. In her speech, she emphasized that football is more than a sport — it is a bridge of unity and hope for the community.
“Our football players are examples of discipline, determination, and unity. Every match and every accomplishment shows that we can achieve great things when we work together. Football unites our people and inspires our youth to pursue their dreams,” Minister Croes said.
