ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Tourism Authority recently had the honor of recognizing Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Maryann Prata from Yonkers, New York, USA, as Emerald Ambassadors of Aruba. This prestigious recognition is given to guests who have visited Aruba 35 years or more consecutively, celebrating their unwavering love for the island and the lifelong memories they’ve created here.

A Token of Appreciation

The Emerald Ambassador certification, presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, serves as a token of appreciation for the Pratas’ loyal visits to Aruba over the years. The certification is part of a special program that honors guests who have visited Aruba for 10, 20, or 35 consecutive years. Mr. and Mrs. Prata’s heartfelt connection to the island was celebrated in a special ceremony at Casa del Mar Beach Resort.

Top Reasons for Returning to Aruba

When asked what keeps them coming back to Aruba, Mr. and Mrs. Prata shared their top reasons for choosing the island year after year:

  • Aruba’s beautiful weather

  • Aruba’s welcoming people

  • Aruba’s delicious food

  • Aruba’s exciting casinos

  • Aruba’s vibrant shopping scene

A Heartfelt Thank You

On behalf of the Aruba Tourism Authority, Ms. Keyttin Silva presented the certificate and gifts to the Pratas, thanking them for choosing Aruba as their home away from home. Their dedication and loyalty to Aruba reflect the essence of the island’s timeless appeal.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Prata for their continued visits and for being part of the Aruba family for over 35 years! We look forward to welcoming them back to the “One Happy Island” for many more unforgettable memories.
