Aruba continues to attract high-quality tourists, with a notable increase in the number of affluent travelers from the U.S. According to the monthly statistics report, the island has seen a 5% rise in visitors from the U.S. with an annual income exceeding $150,000, compared to 2024. This group, often referred to as “affluent travelers,” tends to spend more during their stay and rates their experience highly. Aruba scored 9.2 on the Guest Experience Index for these visitors.

As of August 2025, the share of U.S. tourists with an income above $150,000 grew by 5%, while those earning between $100,000 and $150,000 increased by 2%. This trend shows a growing preference for higher-quality experiences among U.S. visitors.

In October 2025, Aruba received 109,990 stay-over visitors, a 5.7% increase compared to October 2024, marking an additional 5,953 tourists. The most significant growth came from North America, with 80,224 visitors, followed by Latin America with 19,665 visitors (a 6.2% increase from 2024). Aruba also welcomed 6,383 visitors from Europe and 3,718 from other regions.

In terms of market distribution, North America accounted for 72.9%, Latin America 17.9%, Europe 5.8%, and other regions 3.4%. The substantial growth from North America reflects a continuous rise in demand for Aruba as a tropical destination.

Latin American markets, particularly Argentina and Brazil, showed strong performance, maintaining their status as major contributors to October’s growth. Europe saw stable numbers without significant variations.

Short-term market trends show an average occupancy rate increase to 53% in October 2025 compared to the same month in 2024. The average daily rate (ADR) for October 2025 was USD $288, and total year-to-date revenue through October 2025 reached USD $23.4 million, up from USD $17.5 million in 2024.
