On Friday, Prime Minister Mike Eman held a regular meeting with the Crisis Management Office (CMO) to review ongoing activities, cooperation within the Kingdom, and Aruba’s strategic positioning in the region.
During the meeting, the CMO provided updates on its work, including continuous assessments related to crisis preparedness and management. A key topic discussed was enhancing collaboration with partners within the Kingdom, with both sides exchanging ideas on how Aruba can position itself more effectively in regional and international partnerships.
The discussions resulted in new directions for cooperation, which are expected to be further developed in the coming weeks.
The meeting also included a brief evaluation of operations during the Easter period, where various agencies worked together to ensure public safety and community well-being. Special appreciation was expressed for the efforts of the CMO team, the Aruba Police Force, and the Red Cross, particularly for their work in areas such as Baby Beach.
Prime Minister Eman emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination between institutions, highlighting that preparedness and collaboration are essential to maintaining Aruba’s resilience and safety.
