SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PA — Aruba eliminated Canada with a convincing 6-1 victory in Tuesday’s Little League World Series matchup, setting up a must-win clash against Japan.

Canada opened the scoring in the first inning, with Tyson Grimsrud-Ronse driving in Felix Hoyano for an early 1-0 lead. However, Aruba responded immediately: Anthony Santos hit a home run to tie the game, followed by an RBI single from Jeter Filiciana to take the lead.

The decisive moment came in the fourth inning. With Canada trailing 4-1, the Vancouver squad loaded the bases but could not capitalize. Luca Di Nozzi struck out, and Max Regan’s pop fly was caught by Aruba right-fielder Emerson Mercado, leaving the score intact. Aruba added another run in the inning, extending the lead to 5-1.
