ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Arikok National Park is inviting nature enthusiasts to join a Rough Hike on Sunday, July 19, offering participants the chance to explore remote areas of the park while enjoying Aruba’s natural landscapes.
The guided 6.6-kilometre hike begins at the Visitor Center at 6:00 a.m. and follows a route through Miralamar, Masiduri, Rooi Taki, Sabana Basora, Isla and Rooi Lamunchi. The hike is expected to last about 2½ hours, with transportation provided back to the Visitor Center.
Led by the park’s Nature Experience Rangers, the hike is designed for participants aged 10 and older who are comfortable with a faster pace and more challenging terrain. Registration is required, and spaces are limited.
