ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Ambulance Service Chief Urges Caution in Traffic, said Liberato Hoek, Chief of Ambulance Service ImSan, in an interview with Matutino DIARIO. He emphasized that this is a very busy time with heavy traffic, and people are eager to reach their destinations quickly.
“We recorded around 75 accident reports in January, which is a lot for just one month. We still have another weekend to go, and we know that it will be very busy. We are asking people to take necessary precautions in traffic—wear your seatbelt, if you’re drinking, don’t drive, and find a responsible friend to drive you, make sure your children are at home, and try to drive responsibly,” Liberato Hoek emphasized.
He also reiterated that while everyone wants to reach their destination quickly, leaving late and driving recklessly isn’t the answer. Therefore, it is important to be extra cautious on the roads, especially during the upcoming weekend.
Currently, the daily routine is normal, but it’s known that even on break days, accidents can happen, often not directly related to the break, but still happening afterward. It is up to everyone to be responsible for their behavior in traffic.
