ORANJESTAD — Coach Maikel Trappenberg shared that the team is well-prepared, both mentally and physically, for the upcoming games in Williamsport. “I believe our work has been done well,” Trappenberg said, noting that the players have been training four to five hours a day.
Their first game will be on August 15 against the winner of Panama or Australia. As the reigning Caribbean champions, Aruba is determined to represent both the Caribbean and Aruba with pride. “That’s right — stay strong,” Trappenberg expressed.
Mayor and coach Jose Koolman said it is a great honor for the players to have this opportunity, acknowledging their hard work to get here. “We have confidence in them,” Koolman stated.
