This May, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa upheld a treasured tradition by hosting a memorable Mother’s Day event for members of Club Kibrahacha—a dynamic community of Aruban seniors. Set against the stunning backdrop of the resort’s Beach Pavilion, the celebration brought together families, local leaders, and hospitality staff to pay tribute to the strength, love, and legacy of Aruba’s senior women.

Celebrating the Heart of the Community

For years, Manchebo Beach Resort has welcomed Club Kibrahacha’s members to commemorate Mother’s Day in a meaningful and joyous way. This year’s celebration continued that legacy, filled with warm reunions, laughter, and a specially prepared meal from the resort’s renowned culinary team.

Government Leaders Join in the Celebration

The event was graced by two esteemed figures in Aruban leadership—Prime Minister Mike Eman and Minister of Public Health, Social Affairs, and Elderly Care Melvin Wyatt-Ras. Both leaders praised Manchebo for its enduring commitment to Aruba’s senior citizens and its role in fostering community spirit and connection.

“Events like this don’t just honor our elders—they strengthen our sense of community and belonging,” Prime Minister Eman noted in his address.

A Joint Effort with Club Kibrahacha

The event’s success was made possible through the collaboration between Manchebo’s dedicated staff and the passionate team behind Club Kibrahacha, led by Director Jeffrey Matos. Together, they created a celebration that was both heartfelt and seamless.

A Message from Manchebo’s Leadership

General Manager Edgar Roelofs expressed his appreciation during the celebration, thanking all involved for their trust and support.

“At Manchebo, we believe in creating more than just unforgettable vacations—we believe in nurturing the people who make this island special,” Roelofs said.

Continuing a Legacy of Care and Community

Beyond a festive gathering, the Mother’s Day event at Manchebo Beach Resort served as a meaningful tribute to the women who have shaped Aruba’s families and culture. With live music, emotional speeches, and shared memories, the day captured the spirit of appreciation and unity.

Through its ongoing partnership with Club Kibrahacha, Manchebo continues to demonstrate its deep commitment to responsible tourism and social impact, reinforcing its role not just as a premier resort, but as a true community partner.
