ORANJESTAD – Last Saturday, June 28th, the world-famous Domino Square Garden once again shook with excitement as it hosted another electrifying showdown in the domino world!
Making their debut on this hot stage were the “High View” crew, better known as the Bou Palo Boys from Alto Vista, taking on none other than Team Snor, led by the legendary Nelson “Snor” Perez.
Fans were hyped to see if this rookie team could handle the heat against the fierce veterans. And what a match it was! From the first round, both teams traded blows like heavyweights—piece by piece, turn by turn, the game was neck and neck, tied at 8–8.
Things heated up fast when Team Snor pulled off a “clean board” play, but then a big hitter from Bou Palo, a guy known as “Baal,” landed a devastating white shoe on Snor Perez himself! That slap woke up the beast—Team Snor kicked into high gear and raced into halftime leading 11–8.
After a quick break and a round of free “pasapalos,” Team Snor came out like they’d swapped tires and rebuilt their engine in the pit. In round two, the tables turned again—Snor Perez took another white shoe hit, and that was it. The fire was lit!
With precision plays and red-hot strategy, Team Snor powered ahead, hitting 15–13, then stormed through to the final score: 21–13. Snor himself delivered the coup de grâce, sealing the game and leaving the Bou Palo Boys stunned—no room for excuses, no pride left standing.
This win puts Team Snor firmly on top as the 2025 domino season starts to blaze. And with matches heating up like a Caribbean heat wave, you can bet this won’t be the last epic showdown we see!
