Aruba infrastructure plans include an allocation of 15 million florins for San Nicolas, Oranjestad and Noord, Minister Rene Herdé said at a San Nicolas presentation reported by English 24ora on October 14.
Six million florins earmarked for San Nicolas
The reported allocation is divided into 6 million florins for San Nicolas, 5 million for Oranjestad and 4 million for Noord.
Roads, lighting and drainage included
The minister described plans covering seven road routes, public lighting in Seroe Colorado, rainwater drainage and road renovations. The report also identified revitalization projects in De Vuyst, Bushiri, Sabana Basora and Kiviti.
Herdé said the government planned to establish a Rapid Response Team for infrastructure needs. These are announced allocations and plans, not a report that all the work has been completed.
