Free Zone Aruba managing director Walter Mosherm met Governor Alfonso Boekhoudt during a recent introductory audience, according to Diario.
Managing director began role in February
Mosherm has served as managing director of Free Zone Aruba N.V. since February 2026. The meeting with the governor was primarily intended to allow the two officials to become acquainted, the source reported.
No new agreement, policy decision or investment was announced as part of the audience.
Company supports trade and investment
Free Zone Aruba was established in 1996 as a government-owned company operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The company promotes Aruba’s free-trade zone and manages and develops associated sites and facilities. Its mandate includes supporting international trade and investment connected with the island.
