Casa Cuna Progreso director Jermin Bell met Aruba Governor Alfonso Boekhoudt during a recent introductory audience, according to Diario.
Meeting focused on introductions
Bell has worked at Stichting Casa Cuna Progreso since August 2025. The governor’s audience was primarily intended to allow Bell and Boekhoudt to become acquainted, the report said.
No policy decision, funding announcement or operational change was reported in connection with the meeting.
Foundation provides round-the-clock child care
Casa Cuna Progreso is a children’s home that provides temporary care, support and protection 24 hours a day for young children who cannot remain at home because of their circumstances.
The foundation also guides parents or guardians with the goal of safely reuniting children with their families while providing a secure and structured environment.
