Aruba cybercrime cooperation is being strengthened through a regional meeting in Belize involving Colombia and six other Caribbean countries.
Meeting focuses on prevention and investigation
The October 6–8, 2026, gathering addresses cybercrime prevention, digital investigations and exchanges of information and experience. According to NoticiaCla, Colombia’s Ministry of Defense and National Police are leading the initiative.
Participating delegations are sharing approaches to legislation, digital-investigation techniques and international cooperation. The program also includes a visit to Belize’s Cybercrime Unit and Digital Forensics Laboratory.
Regional exchange aims to build capacity
