A Savaneta overnight fall rescue brought police, paramedics and firefighters after a neighbour heard a woman calling for help the next morning.
Neighbour Hears Calls for Help
A woman was rescued from her home in Savaneta on Sunday morning after a neighbour heard her calling through a window, AWE24 reported. The Savaneta overnight fall rescue followed indications that she had fallen the night before and had been unable to stand or summon assistance until morning.
Emergency Services Respond
Police, an ambulance crew and firefighters were sent to the residence. According to the report, paramedics were initially able to attend to the woman through a window but could not enter the home. The source did not identify the woman or give her age.
Firefighters Open the Home
Firefighters were able to open a door so responders could reach the woman directly. The report did not say whether the entry caused damage or whether a key was available. The coordinated response allowed the medical team to move her safely after several hours on the floor.
Woman Taken to Hospital
AWE24 reported that the woman was transported to hospital. The initial report did not describe her injuries, explain what caused the fall or provide a later medical update. No criminal circumstances were alleged in connection with the incident.
