The return of the Governmental/Commercial Softball Cup after six years was nothing short of a grand celebration. Organized by the Horacio Oduber Hospital (HOH) team, the ten-day tournament brought together six governmental and six commercial teams in a highly anticipated showdown at Kudawecha Ballpark. The event ran from June 19 to June 29, creating a festive atmosphere filled with enthusiastic crowds, camaraderie, and community spirit.
The tournament was co-sponsored by HOH and Balashi, and featured fierce competition, culminating in a memorable awards ceremony. Setar NV claimed the title of Governmental Champion, while Inmenza Construction took the Commercial Champion trophy.

HOH Board Member Gregory Croeze shared his pride in hosting the tournament, emphasizing how it brought people from all over the island together. He praised the hospital staff for their dedication, not only as spectators but also as active contributors to the event’s success.
Organizer Dave Laclé expressed heartfelt gratitude to the HOH board and the event committee, who worked for an entire year to make the tournament possible.
With the 2025 edition now closed, Setar NV will take on the honor of organizing the 2026 Governmental/Commercial Cup.
