The Margaritaville Islander Aruba visit brought approximately 2,650 cruise passengers to the island during the ship’s inaugural call on September 9.
Port marked the first visit with plaque exchange
Representatives of the Aruba Tourism Authority, Aruba Ports Authority and port agent SEL Maduro & Sons welcomed the vessel. The first call was marked by the traditional exchange of commemorative plaques between the cruise line, destination and port.
Ship is scheduled to return in 2027
The Islander entered Margaritaville at Sea service in 2024 after an extensive conversion. The report described a 965-foot vessel with more than 1,100 cabins and 12 passenger decks. It is scheduled to call at Aruba again in September 2027.
