ORANJESTAD, Aruba — The new Chispito safety jingle has been launched by N.V. ELMAR in collaboration with Kylie & Katya as part of the utility company’s continuing campaign to teach children and families about electrical safety.
The official music video, titled Chispito x Kylie & Katya – Sende!, combines music, dance and ELMAR’s Chispito character to deliver safety information in a lively and memorable format.
The central message encourages children to remember that electrical safety should always come first.
Chispito Safety Jingle Debuts at Concert
ELMAR officially premiered the Chispito safety jingle video during Kylie & Katya’s Back to School Concert.
Chispito joined Kylie & Katya and the NTG Dancers for a special dance performance introducing the song to the audience.
By combining music, choreography and a familiar character, ELMAR hopes to make electrical-safety information easier for children and young people to understand and remember.
The initiative follows other educational activities involving Chispito as part of ELMAR’s wider “Switch on Safety” campaign. ELMAR has previously used the character during its Electra Discovery Tour to teach children rules for preventing electrical accidents.
Teaching Electrical Safety Through Entertainment
The Chispito safety jingle was created to communicate a serious message through an entertaining format.
Instead of presenting electrical safety only through traditional instructions, ELMAR is using music and dance to reach younger audiences in a way that connects with their everyday interests.
The company wants children to recognize potential electrical dangers and develop safer habits from an early age.
Parents are also an important part of the initiative.
ELMAR introduced Chispito as a tool that can encourage parents to speak with their children about electricity, potential hazards and safe behaviour around electrical equipment.
Chispito to Continue Educational Role
Chispito is expected to remain part of future ELMAR educational and community initiatives.
The character forms part of the utility company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, with safety serving as one of its key areas of attention.
ELMAR has already used Chispito in activities for children during its educational roadshows and summer programs around Aruba.
Through these initiatives, the company is attempting to make safety education more accessible while encouraging conversations about electricity within families.
Safety Message Targets Next Generation
Electrical safety is particularly important for children because everyday household devices, plugs, cables and electrical installations can present dangers when used incorrectly.
By introducing safety lessons early, ELMAR hopes young people will develop habits that can reduce the risk of electrical accidents.
The Chispito safety jingle adds another tool to that educational effort by giving children a song and visual presentation associated with the message that safety comes first.
With Kylie & Katya, NTG Dancers and Chispito bringing the campaign to life, ELMAR is combining entertainment and education to help make electrical safety a memorable subject for Aruba’s next generation.
