The Aruba Ombudsman neighborhood campaign will bring the services of Bureau Ombudsman directly into several communities, giving residents easier access to complaint procedures, information and independent advice.
Ombudsman Jurima Bryson launched the initiative under the name “Ombudsman den bario,” with the goal of making the office more visible and accessible throughout Aruba.
By visiting different neighborhoods, the Ombudsman wants to give residents an opportunity to submit complaints and learn more about the services available through the office.
The campaign is also intended to create stronger personal contact with residents and provide a better understanding of the concerns people experience in their communities.
According to the Ombudsman, every citizen should have access to independent information and advice when they have a complaint involving a government or legally recognized institution.

Building Trust Through Accessibility
Bureau Ombudsman said it will continue investing in personal contact with citizens.
By being present in neighborhoods and speaking directly with residents, the office hopes to strengthen trust between the community and public institutions.
The Aruba Ombudsman neighborhood campaign is designed to make the complaint process easier to access while ensuring residents understand their rights and the independent support available to them.
