DAKOTA, Aruba – Vehicle Fire in Dakota Extinguished Before Firefighters Arrive early Saturday morning after a parked vehicle caught fire at a residence, prompting a response from police and the Aruba Fire Department.
Emergency services were dispatched after receiving reports of a vehicle on fire in the yard of a home in Dakota.
Upon arrival, police found that a vehicle, which reportedly had no licence plates and had been parked at the property for an extended period, had caught fire under unknown circumstances.
Before firefighters reached the scene, family members had already managed to extinguish most of the flames.
Firefighters then applied water to the vehicle to fully extinguish the remaining fire and prevent any possibility of re-ignition.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, and authorities have not released additional information as the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
