15th Aruba International Regatta Sets Sail June 27–29

This weekend, the sails go up and spirits soar as the 15th Aruba International Regatta returns from Friday, June 27 through Sunday, June 29, celebrating the island’s deep connection to sailing, youth development, and environmental stewardship.

Organized by the Aruba Regatta Foundation, the annual event brings together sailing enthusiasts of all ages—from seasoned skippers to young local talent—to compete, connect, and enjoy Aruba’s pristine coastal waters in the most sustainable way possible.

More than just a sailing competition, the Regatta is rooted in a powerful mission: to inspire the next generation of sailors and promote a meaningful connection with nature through water sports. By focusing on young sailors, the foundation aims to nurture both skill and responsibility building not just better athletes, but better stewards of the sea.

“We believe sport has a vital role in creating a sustainable future,” say the organizers. “Sailing teaches respect—for the ocean, for the wind, and for each other. It’s a natural bridge between adventure and awareness.”
