ORANJESTAD, Aruba — The Aruba Lions Venezuela Aid initiative brought members of the Aruba One Happy Island Lions Club together with volunteers from Cristo Rey Parish to prepare humanitarian donations for people affected by the recent earthquake in Venezuela.
Club members and parish volunteers worked side by side to sort and package food, personal care products and other essential supplies intended for families and communities facing difficult conditions following the disaster.
The activity demonstrated the strong spirit of solidarity connecting Aruba with the people of neighbouring Venezuela.
Volunteers Prepare Essential Donations
During the humanitarian activity, volunteers carefully organized the donated products to help ensure that they could be transported and distributed efficiently.
