The sixth edition of Aruba Ride4Kids is now set for Sunday, September 13, with several route lengths and departure times planned for the charity cycling event.
Longest route begins at 2 a.m.
Ride4Kids commission president Rothmar Coenraad told 24ora that the 175-kilometer route will begin at 2 a.m. The distance is approximately two and a half circuits of Aruba. Additional groups are scheduled to depart at 3 a.m., 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. for the other routes.
Organizers expect approximately 200 cyclists on the road. The latest schedule replaces the date reported in an earlier announcement and should be treated as the current event information.
Event raises funds for children
Kiwanis Club of Aruba presents Ride4Kids as a community sports event that raises funds to support vulnerable children. Commercial partners are supporting the program, but promotional and ticket-sales language from the source has been omitted here.
The source did not publish a complete list of route maps or road closures. Participants and drivers should therefore consult current organizer information before the September 13 event.
