ORANJESTAD – Police and an ambulance responded Friday evening to a traffic accident in Paradijs involving a child on a bicycle.
According to initial reports, a woman driving a Toyota Passo with invalid insurance struck a child who was riding a bicycle without lights. The impact threw the child onto the vehicle’s windshield, causing a head injury.
Paramedics treated the child at the scene before transporting the victim to the hospital for urgent medical attention. Police investigated the circumstances surrounding the collision.
